The more you chase what you want, the more you won’t get it. Most of the times we fail to see it in a bigger picture. As a whole. The world doesn’t revolve around you only. Everyone has a part to play in everyone else’s life. Directly or indirectly. We always fail to see how small little things we take for granted for are actually the major cause for our failures.
Because most of the time we feel like we’ve already put in 110% of effort and yet we still didn’t manage to achieve what we aim for. Whenever we fail, the first thing that come into our minds is ‘I didn’t put enough effort.’ or ‘I’ve tried my best but yet I still fail.’ As a result, we blame takdir. Or give up hope instead of troubleshooting and brainstorm for the source of the cause. There are so many possibilities. Not just about the effort you’ve put in.
Time and again we lost hope. Starting to lose faith. But thank Allah we managed to bring ourselves up eventually. Either by trying to achieve what we want in another means or give it up completely.
If we are too focused in chasing for what we want, saying that we’ve put in double the effort, you think Allah doesn’t know? Think about it. Allah knows you’ve worked extra hard. And of course, He always hears your prayers. He definitely would love to give you the things that you asked for. He is the most Merciful remember? Allah wanted to let you realize of the things that you’ve neglected when you were too busy putting in those extra effort. Putting that extra effort alone is insufficient. Look at the things around you.
Things like parents’ well-being, reading the qur’an, relationship with siblings etc. These little things matters. Remember, we are not in a race. This life is not a race. It’s not about survival of the fittest. This life is about preparing for next. This life is about faith.
If you get what I mean…
